Tim and Sascha discovered their love for partner dancing (and each other) while studying at Delft University in the Netherlands. She had a background in ballet, and he had one in martial arts, and dancing together simply worked. For several years they danced and performed Salsa as well as giving workshops in Salsa, Bachata and Merengue.
In 2008 they discovered Brazilian Zouk and got addicted. Bigtime. After joining the DancAlegria teachers programme they performed internationally as well as set up a student Zouk showteam at TU Delft and taught them their first choreography.
Tim and Sascha moved to Canada for work in 2014 and set up a brand new Zouk scene locally in Edmonton, teaching weekly classes and throwing parties and social events. They quickly branched out and supported the growth of Zouk in western Canada at large; both by teaching workshops as well as supporting (new) local teachers in their development; making some awesome friends in the process.
They returned to Holland in 2017 and currently they are part of the organising team for Zouk in Utrecht. Building on their Canadian experience, here they created a collaborative environment where all local teachers and organisers work together to run an harmonious and vibrant Zouk scene.
At present they teach workshops at Zouk events in Holland or abroad.
